Kaitlyn Chiles
Tomball West High School is excited to welcome Kaitlyn Chiles as the inaugural Head Softball Coach for the Tigers. Chiles brings collegiate coaching experience from the University of Kansas, where she currently serves as an assistant coach working with defensive development, scouting, and athlete performance at the Power 4 level.
Prior to her current role, Chiles served as a graduate assistant and volunteer assistant at Kansas, gaining extensive experience in game preparation, data analysis, and player development. She has a strong reputation for building disciplined, accountable, and team-oriented athletes.
A former Division I student-athlete and softball player at the University of Texas, Chiles earned her degree in Marketing before completing a Master’s in Sport Management at Kansas. She was a scholarship athlete and member of multiple academic honor rolls during her collegiate career.
In addition to softball, Chiles brings a multi-sport background, including recognition as a four-time All-State volleyball player, and is committed to supporting well-rounded athletic programs.
Coach Chiles along with her husband and daughter are excited to join the Tiger community. She looks forward to developing student-athletes who excel in competition, academics, and character.
